i have no idea what am gonna do when it is war time in my country.. i did not live the real war and it seems awkward to somehow imagine how it would be. . . i can talk about how we acted during the 1990 gulf war, when Iraq invaded Kuwait.
To us, that was a horrific aweful unbelievable war.. the countries on the gulf are member of the arab GCC ( gulf countries council),and we always thought of each other as one family even we are thousends of miles away.. the islamic religion unifies us and makes us share almost the same traditions and values. that invasion was a shock to all arab GCC people.
because Sadam Hussain had bad intentions, and we deeply think and whisper amongest each other that U.S governoment was pushing Sadam Hussain to do that with a lot of attractive offers.. thats also what we thought of Usamah Bin Laden invading Afghanstan and killing the innocent Afghani people. seems i got more than i can say toward living in war.. well, during the 1990s, we started gathering food for at least a month ahead. families were sticking together. a chemical weapon at then was a real threat to us, and some people had to buy these masks to protect them selves from the chemical weapons that were said to be used by Saddam Hussain during that war.
well, times is almost up..

i can just brief you with the fact during the Iraqi invation, we had to prepare for the worst, we sealed the windows and taped them in case the get broken we dont get hurt by the scattered pieces of the glass..we were not at war, but we were involved.. majorty of kuwaiti people who escaped their country fled to saudi arabia, and we had to provide shelter for them.. our classes went double the number because of the kuwaiti students who wanted to continue their education.. though schools were stopped for almost 6 months then it was resumed..
times up..
:)
