final journal

OK, last thing: tell me what you thought of writing journals on this blog. Was it a positive experience for you? Why? Why not? Do you think you've learned anything from writing this way?

Write write write and have a great break! :)

To me,
it was a very nice idea and knowing someone would be reading my post motivated me to write and share my ideas.
Also, because most of my class mates were korean whose their culture taght them to be quiet and never talk unless asked , as a way of showing respect to elder people or teachers. at first, before i knew this fact it seemed to me that i was placed in the wrong level of english.. because anticipating in class in the american culture is NOT by listening only, students need to listen and share thoughts..talking during discussion classes is encourged.. however, this online writing or ( journaling ) showed me these class-mates are well behaved and though they talk less but their english is higher than what i estimated my self.
this summer is of great value to me because it is my first semester in USA. It added more to my experience of studying with international students and dealing with international people.

Thank you and wish you all the best.
